Special Tavern Events on Android

These special events, Mushroom Harvest, Extra Gold, Experience Bonus days, are not visible in the Android app. I had no idea today's event was going on since the Tavern graphics were not displayed, and the Barkeep mentioned nothing but the standard day text. Any chance of getting the phone app to recognize these special events?

Update: the app is still a beta version. Events or mushrooms specials cannot be viewed with the app as a new version would have to be uploaded to the market place and users would have to download it again and again. So we still have to use the computer version to be notified of certain events.
