iphone app bugs

    Countless updates further. That didnt change a thing.
    But now im getting sick of it. I've also sended in many bug reports but it never gotten fixed.

    Hopefully this will bring attention to the cause.
    For over a year the IOS (iphone / Ipad) client has been reacting barely. You start the client .. login (or auto login) and that seems to be fine. You click on the thing you want to do and then the issue start. With any luck the action is responded. For example you click the tavern and you see the quests.
    85% of the time the client will crash and you need to restart the client and do it all over. 15% of the time you actually can click the quest you want to do.
    And then it all starts again. So in order to start 1 quest you (with luck) have to relogin about 15 times.
    And it all starts again when you (while on the quest) want to check the shop.

    Eventually your restarting and relogin so many times that you get bored of seeing the login screen and you decide the spend the wasting time on something else.

    It all started about 1 year ago when the login screen gotten speeded up. Ofcourse i can understand the frustration of a slow starting page. But it was way better then having the relogin constantly.

    ATM:
    Iphone .. the client doesnt even start. So im not even trying
    Ipad: You start and (restart) cli (restart) click so (restart) something (restart) .. ow forget it im gonna do something else.

    Can we please look at the ios client and make it stable again. For over a year we are (partly) unable to play.

      I play almost daily on my iPhone and every few days on the iPad, don't have any of the above issues (at least not in that frequency -- I get a crash every few days). What iPhone / iPad are you using? Even more important, what version of iOS?

        Theaxe Do you only have problems with S&F or with other apps as well?
        Do you use the latest version?
        If your problems persist, please send a support ticket with your iPhone model and OS.

          @hexblot: Yes im aware that my devices arent the latest.
          Iphone: 3gs
          Ipad: 2

          However they are running the latest software versions and are updated to the latest ios/client.
          About a year ago they did run normally. Ok ok the login screen (before the speed up) was slow. But hell it all is worth the wait and once logged in there was no issue at all.
          Then update after update it gotten worse and worse. And with the latest update (twister thingy) it got to the point like described.

          @Leander: Yes its s&f only. All other games / programs react normally. As said previous s&f was running normally aswell. Till the time the login screen gotten speeded up and then it all went down hill.
          At start it was only once in a while then view (i believe 2) updates further it gotten to the point where you needed to restart the client allot (crashes). And now with the latest update it gotten to the point where your constantly are reloggin.
          Sending in a ticket didnt gotten answered at all.

          I hoped it gotten fixed in updates but update after update it only gotten worse to the point where my iphone now doesnt even start the game and on the ipad its a pain.
          Lucky i still have this laptop and a pc and those have no issues at all.
          But well .. you wake up .. grab a cup of coffee .. step back into bed with your ipad to play s&f perfect morning and perfect way to start the day .

                One thing that has broken since the last update (Twister) is that I can no longer select a person from any list (HoF for PvP) - whenever I click on someone's name, some other semi-random person gets highlighted.

                Semi random because it's always the same (wrong) person that gets highlighted when I click the same name, but I cannot figure out the logic behind it.


                Eg clicking on Person A will always highlight Person B. Clicking Person B will always highlight person C, etc.

                  Several players have this problem. Forwarded, will be fixed as soon as possible (might take a bit longer than a non-iOS patch as Apple needs to approve the patch first).

                    That's more than likely due to your outdated iOS versions -- iPhone 3GS can run up to iOS6, while iPad2 can run up to iOS9

                    Current iOS available is 10, which brought tons of changes - and since 90% of iOS users currently have iOS9+, it's more than likely that your 3GS is not compatible anymore.

                    However, if your iPad is running iOS9 you should still be compatible, since that's only 1 major version behind -- could you go to Settings->General->Software Update and update the support team with the iOS version your devices are running?

                    It's really the only way you can ever get an answer other than "hey it works for me".
