Didn't recieve Key after quest

I completed a quest from the tavern that offered me the first dungeon key as a reward. I completed the quest successfully and got the gold and exp, but I didn't get the key and I still can't access the 1st dungeon.

Is there a way for the key to be replaced?

Are you sure you had a free slot in your inventory? Another explaination could be that you selected the wrong quest or there was a delay. Sometimes the items you get after a quest take some time to be loaded and displayed, e.g. quest 1 has an item, quest 2 hasn't. You click on quest 1 and don't see the item, you click on quest 2 and suddenly an item appears...but it belongs to the first quest and got loaded with a delay.

It is always better to click on all three quests twice to make sure an item belongs to the right quest.

Don't worry, you can find the key again as long as the first dungeon is still locked. Be patient and you'll get a new key. :ab:

I had no items at all in my inventory, so it can't have been that.

It was definately the right quest. I always read through the description before accepting and the key was there the whole time.

Not overly happy that I have to wait another day before I get even a chance to even look again, when it had taken 2 days to find this one in the first place, it's not a huge incentive to continue playing when it's the same thing over and over and the first 'new' thing I get a chance to do didn't work because the item I needed didn't get applied.

I understand that it is annoying but you just have to wait for a new key.

Normally, keys do not get lost so it is not a known bug.

The reasons for lost items are:

o Browser too old => update your browser.

o Flash Player too old => update your Flash Player.

o Items displayed under wrong quests due to lag & delay => do not click on all three quests too quickly; wait till all items have been loaded; go through all three quests again.
