I see no need for it either as you cant add points to their stats at all all u can do is level up and keep them maxed and get them better gear.

I am the type of player who likes to gather as much info about the game as possible, yet I don't really understand why would anyone bother to collect info about his helpers' stats or how that would help him / her in any way to improve in the game....
