Strawpoll:What do you think about the release of W2

    Hello.
I'm curious to know what the majority of people think about the release of the W2.
If you want to give additional thoughts , reply below.

Personally i think the release of the W1 could have been better announced with 2 weeks in advance. This way many people would have had time to save money and then the activity would have been even better.

Now with the release of W2, some people that arrived late will probably leave W1 because they want to be in better positions.

Its true that exist lots of activity in W1, but there are many clans struggling to find active players...even in top 15.

See that is where most ppl are wrong it doesn't matter when you start on a server if you shroom and get in the right guild you can lvl quickly and catch up. if you don't it takes a long time to reach the top so why would it matter then which server you start on.

2 examples of starting late. On s1 US I started abt 2-3 years late when I retired there I was in the top 40 players and took a guild from abt the rank of 120 to the top 30. (that guild is currently ranked 13th)

On s2 UK I started abt 5-6 months late and was the 3rd or 4th to reach lvl 300 and was in top 3 for abt 6 months b4 retiring there.

here is a 3rd example on s3 US top players were abt lvl 220 I hit the #1 ranking abt a year after starting there and currently in top 4 and usually in top spot a good amount of the time and a current level of 368

We have that kind of discussion every two months when a new server comes up. Every time there are not only a few guys who claim that it is impossible to catch up with an already started server.

What most of them do not take into account is the fact that the quest-reward-penalties are brutal later on in this game.
From LV275 to 300 you need 5.5 days for one level playing 320AI.
From LV300 to 325 you need 11.2 days for one level and
from LV325 to 350 you even need 15.5 days for one level.

So due to the game mechanics you will ever be able to catch up on any server of this Shakes and Fidget game.
But that are only words. On 2013/09/07 - more than five years after the launch - to prove that they all
are wrong and it "is" possible to do what a lot of people claim to be impossible we have
started a catch-up-project on the oldest server of Shakes and Fidget.

Now after nearly two years of playing on this ancient server we have reached the guild top 10,
got almost 45,000 clicks and hold the world record in hunting down raid 50. Check here: http://forum.sfgame.de/forumdisplay.php?f=27
So - would you say it is impossible to start and become very successful on any server you start?

            No it is not!

There are only three things that count - regardless of the server:
            1) The team must act as a team
            2) A red frame known to all in which all team members are free to perform the way they want to
            3) Endurance

Think about it - there is more to it to be a long time
successful guild / player than someone who "really wants to play in superduper shroom mode"

Yes bobo baggins and iudex i share the same thoughts. I have started almost 1 year late on my server and did manage to reach top rank.
But unfortunately there are tons of people that only want to go for rank 1 since day 1 . It doesn't even matter if 1 month later they quit because they fallen behind again xD Even so they quit from previous servers to try their "luck"...and is happening in this case again.

"3) Endurance" is really the key here

I think is more fun trying to catch up people instead of being in top rank "running away"

I think that a lot of people join W1 'cause the promise of the FORTRESS release and to take a look to that before the release on the other worlds.

In my country a lot of of guys do so. After the delay announce about that release many of them didn't play anymore in the international server.
I think that people don't wait for a new server every month but for new update that increase game longevity.
So fortress, new dungeon, etc. will welcome. New worlds? Again and again? Mmmmh I'm not so sure that is the way. Many worlds in my country have only the first 3 guild really active (if you're lucky), everytime a new world is open we lost new player in the old one.

It has sense for Playa (many mushrooms needed to grow a guild in a new world), but from player side I found boring to create a new PG everytime. I have one only active pg and I prefer to play well with that. Playing from 2 to 5 hours per day with more PG? It's a crazy think for me (if you wanna play honestly without bots)

Today I looked at the members list to find out how many players have an account on W1 and W2. Its about 197.000 (159.400 with at least 1 quest) on W1, while on W2 there are only about 29.000 (24.400 with at least 1 quest). Not talking about how many players may really be active though.
