So I spend like 10 shrooms to (maybe) find 10-pack in a shop? I can spend those exact shrooms to skip quests in happy hour (and don't have to pay gold for it). I don't think they'll be that common in shops to make a big impact (without spending shrooms). Thought this was a step forward to shorten thirst duration, guess I was wrong.

You shouldn't refresh the shops to find quicksand hourglasses. Only buy them if available without additional refreshing.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, I don't think it will be that common to make an impact. I didn't get any in the shop so far. I got 2 every day from 320 thirst and it felt like pretty good balance to me.

I've asked to add them again. I understand your point but they weren't meant to drop as quest rewards. It was a bug. Gaining the items in the shops and as quest rewards would result in too many items.

Thanks for trying. As I said, it seemed pretty OK to me. I got 2 packs in 320 thirst, average quest takes 6,25 thirst...20 hourglasses speed up 125 thirst. If that seems like a lot to Playa, I guess we shouldn't expect any further thirst duration adjustments in the future...

For a worker like me with family urglass is the best way to fix this game.

After fix is just another stupid update like assasin.
Maybe is just time to leave don't see any chance for a good update.

You did something ok-ish and then you retracted on it, bravo - this company somewhat manages to be more self-destructive then me. There are piles of errors and balancing issues that have been around for ages yet somehow you manage to find one in the recent update that was seen as one of the better features in months.

How about first fixing issues that everyone complains about and then fixing issues that suit your greed? This is really blunt play and clear with the intentions to the point of it being offensive. The way of treating players is really shady.

In any case, if there were any worries of overinflating players with those items you did everything in your power to do so. There's a limit of 320 on quests - there's no limit on shop refresh. Stating that having them in quests would increase the numbers too much is a poor excuse since it's the other way around. Assuming it would be only quest item paying players would still get the advantage but apparently, that's not enough.

What I am saying is that any decent company would revert it to the previous state or at least compromise after analyzing community feedback. What this one does is writing letters that mean absolutely nothing and are just crafted to sound nice, since there is absolutely no reflection upon them.

Playa says that too many glasses would break the game. Another 8 refreshes, 13 glasses!

Next I created a new account and used the 25 mushrooms to refresh the shops. I got:

single quicksand glasses: 3
10-packs: 2
potion of eternal life: 2
dexterity potions: 5
constitution potions: 3
===
23 quicksand glasses

In addition, you do get single glasses as quest rewards.
