In math 600 x2 equal 1200. That's true. However in description it's making a difference. By that you know the gem in weapon doubles your gem stat.

EDIT: Don't know how often 100 + 100 x 2 is calculated the wrong way?

The problem with leaving it out of the game interface is that people not following forums/guides (although not all guides are up to standard and some things are missing) or are new will have no idea about it, thus creating a disadvantage. There are games in which this way is sort of justifiable but they are tenfolds more complex. I don't think it will hurt anyone having an additional line of text on weapons tooltip "(Gems placed in X weapon's slot increases damage x2 from said gem)" where X would be class of the player.

You're right. Anyway i would to see "x2" in description.
    For example:
Dexterity gem in weapon: +600 (x2)

I believe it works, although it is weird indeed. Try to unmount your weapon and see what happens to your stats. Compare that with an item comparable in stats.
To me, the difference is obvious.

As a 120 thirst player, after the first epic event & magic shop reroll spree, I have nothing negative to say about the 10 packs. For me the hourglasses has been there to skip the longest quests and on busy days everything but the shortest.

A single daily quest does not seem like much, about 7 min quest (with 30% mount) worth of experience. As I'm getting close to lvl 300 it takes many days to lvl up even once. ~49 thirst worth of extra exp weekly sounds pretty good. that should be a few extra level ups in a year.

Now what happened to the "warriors, scouts and mages get a twice as high bonus for gems in weapons now (to compensate for the assassin's extra gem in the second weapon)"? Atleast gems set in my warrior weapon do not seem to have double the effect they had before. Thought the patch might apply only to post update inserted gems but that does not seem to be the case either.

Speaking about hourglass packs, how about make them as the daily quest reward to actually encourage people to complete theese?

At the current state, the daily quest reward XP gain is equal to one 5-minute mission for me, which is not worth completing, if it requires even little sacrifice, if you make a hourglass pack reward, it would encourage people to complete the mission at all cost and would add more impact to both daily missions and hourglass packs.

    Hi

I m the first of my server and before this update when i killed the second one in the underground i won the max honor.
It s not the case anymore.
Ex : i am level 397, the second one of the server is 396.
Before the patch my honor max was mine + 1= 398 (the same than all the players who defeated me)after defeated him in the underground ranking.. but after this update i am stick at honor 397
    Something is now broken?

    Overall:

+ daily missions - small addition, but nicely done
+ gold mine - is finally decent enough to be worth building
+ new app logging screen - amazing, with a darker feel

    - hourglass packs - while this does improve the game, the effect (without spending shrooms) is too marginal and just feels bad

The game isn't meant to go only for 15 minutes a day. Some players have spent hundreds and thousands of hours and now you should be able to "play" the whole game in 15 minutes? Wouldn't be fair.

How many glasses do you get evey day? With 320 Thrist you definitely get a handful of them. Use them to skip the 10-minute quests and your playing time is reduced. Now you can argue you prefer quests with visible quest rewards such as items for some extra gold but it's still your decision.

Some players even said the single glasses for quests are sufficient. They spent some, skip some quests and still get new ones to skip 40 minutes the next day.

Your constant negativity is getting boring.

I am not here to convince you everything's fine or make you like the current situation. It's your opinion and it's ok. Nevertheless, I've repeatedly explained how things are at the moment and why.
