server is down, and not only the UK one

the US servers are online for sure, but what really bothers me is why there are any announcements as to why / when the server will be up and running again

the German servers are down too, which is pretty strange
i guess they didn't announce this maintenance because they didn't know about the problem sooner... i hope they'll fix it soon

It would be nice to know when the server is back up or expected down time so we know what we can do today isntead of staring at the screen.
Might even venture into the outside world if it's down for some time
