Gold in guild bank

Our guild bank is full or nearly so. When I or other players try to donate more than the spare capacity in the bank a red error message appears to say that the bank is full and no gold is spent. No yellow guild message appears.

However, one player continues to donate gold well in excess of any spare capacity and a yellow message appears to say he has donated. Attempts to contact him to ask whether gold is actually spent or to tell him to stop have failed (don't ask why!).

Is this connected with the bug about misreporting for players who have donated a lot of gold? His current cumulative donations are over 19m.

Is he actually spending and so wasting this gold?

Good question. I'll ask the devs. You've contacted him and asked him to stop as he is wasting his money but he doesn't reply and keeps donating ? That's strange indeed but if he doesn't want to stop it's up to him I guess.

it is done thru the app I know ppl on the android app can donate even if bank is full not sure if it is the same on ios app.

It is indeed an app bug but it was fixed in the newest version.

Edit: I see you have tried contacting to no avail could be a language barrier thing or a botter and I don't know if bot programs are able to donate if total gold goes over 10 million or not but since botting is not allowed that shouldn't matter I suggest finding out which and hope it is a language thing and not the other.

Thanks for your comments. I don't think a bot is playing as he is questing and joining battles. As you suggest, I wonder if it is a language issue but then why play a UK server? I have tried mailing and whispering to no effect. I cannot recall who invited him into the guild. Still, I should not complain. He is a good member.

if he cannot give further feedback about this problem, there's not much the developers can do about it... It's like saying "there is a problem, but we dont know much about that problem"... He needs to specify which explorer he uses, which version, etc etc....

I've asked the German CoMa - he says this player still uses an old app and need to update his app.
