Question about armor/fortress/dungeons

Is armor important? for item with 40 armor/37 Cons vs 61 armor/32 luck, which one is better?

will it get attacked if the fortress under level 4?

When should you level up fortress? those buildings cost lots of gold, and only thing useful is gem mine? but when you still low level, those item seems not worth put gem on IMO.

About dungeon monsters, will you have the chance get item if you level were lower than monsters? I have defeated 10 monsters, only got 2 items...

I think you have a 25% chance to find a EPIC item after defeating a dungeon monster. 100% for defeating the last one in each dungeon (10/10)

Normal dungeon monster: 50% gold, 50% item. If it is an item: 50% normal item, 50% epic item.

Boss monster: guaranteed epic item

Armor helps you reduce damage from attacks. The percentage of your character´s total armor indicates the damage reduction for an attack from a player/monster of the same level as you.
Is armor important? To certain level it is (especially in the arena, where you usually fight characters more or less at your level). BUT be aware that there is a maximum damage reduction for the character (10% if you are a mage, 25% if you are an archer, 50% if you are a warrior); once you have reached that percentage, increasing your armor won't have any effect.


Personally, I NEVER sacrifice my key stats (main stat, constituion and luck) in order to increase my armor, because you will find that in general you reach your max armor quite fast even without pursuing it. However, in the example you used, I would go for the first item, because I would rather have constitution than luck.

The fortress was added as a separate functionality of the game to make it more interesting to higher level players, who were getting bored of the game after having finished the dungeons and advancing quite slowly.

I cannot think of any reason why you should invest in it as a low level player (unless you really really like that part of the game): it consumes gold that you really need for building up your character, and buying items and potions. Gems can be useful, but as a low level character you change your items so frequently that it doesn't seem worth it.

If I were you, I would let the fortress sit for a while. There will be a point where the gold required for it seems insignificant for you; and the gems will be worth harvesting because you will hold on to items much longer.

Note: I would like to point out that the fortress didn't exist when I was a low level player; so I am talking about something I never experienced and may be missing some other appeal of it.

Yes armor is kinda important but stat bonus is more so pick the one with con but if u have an item that has main stat take the main stat one over any other normal item. if u have a choice between a normal item and an epic with double stat bonus of normal item or at least close to it then take epic.

As for fortress it is always good to search for mines even if u cant use the gems u can sell them or if u are high enough level to use arcane toilet u can drop unneeded gems in it for 30 points.
lvl of you or the dungeon monster doesn't decide if u get an item or not more on luck think of it as rolling a die and u need say a 50-100 on a 100 sided die to get an item and for an epic item that number has to be 75+

Since HoK does not need gold, should I spend resources there? will level up HoK rise my Fortress's rank and have more chance to be attacked by high level player?

HoK is a guild benefit: the higher sum of the HoK level of all players in the guild, the better gems every member of that guild can find. Even if you are not currently in a guild, is a good thing to upgrade: once you join one everybody (including yourself) will benefit from it by getting better gems.

Upgrading HoK will NOT make you vulnerable to higher level players/fortresses. In fact, you don't have to fear that at all with upgrades: players that are able to attack your fortress are those more or less in the same fortress rank as you. It is just like in the arena. The only thing that affects your rank is the fortress honour, which is increased by 1 every time you successfully attack another fortress.


Regarding the selling of gems: I really don't know how much you get, because I don't know if it depends on the level of your character. Hopefully somebody else will be able to help here.

the gold you get from gems depends on what grade it is (whether is is small medium or large) and what level u are example 2 ppl have the same gem mine level but one is lvl 50 and the other is lvl 275 the one for the lvl 50 player would be say 10,000 gold but the one for the lvl 275 player would be 500k

just abt everything in the games is based off your level.

also if you have opened arcane toilet dropping a gem in it gives you 30 points towards filling it compared to 25 from a normal item and usually items r worth more gold then gems so better to drop it in the toilet then selling but if u hve to make room sell the suckers.
