    Export browser settings

I have a number of accounts set up in my browser. I may be switching computers soon so wondered if there is a way of exporting the account settings to a new computer without re-inputing them? Any ideas please? I mainly use Chrome but sometimes use Firefox.

I am gonna say nope you will have to enter each account again but all u have to do is enter login info and rest should be the same as for options.

only thing I can think of is if there is a program that takes the cache from flash to make it transferable and tbh not even sure if that would work or allow able by the terms of the ToS.

if you use chrome, you should be able to sign in wiht ur google account and have it saved, then all setting exported to another comp with chrome.. hopefully, but might wanna get it verified . i know it asks about backup on it.

Hard to give a step by step without knowing your OS (current) and the OS on the new machine.
        Google Help on this:
        https://support.google.com/chrome/se...nd+saved+data+

Typical for Google Help, alot of the entries are older and may be out of date. But you may be able to find the page with the steps for your situation. Many of the instructions for XP/Vista may work on Win 7, not sure about Win 8.1 or Win 10. If you are using a Windows PC that is.

        Best of luck to you.

well I can for win 8.1 and win 10 they r way different beasts then old OS's and if u have one of those older ones then I don't hold much hope for u. Now the possibility of chrome holding that info that is interesting to say the least and I for one would like to know if that is possible.
