It's all random, I see no difference in shorter or longer quests. I just have bad luck and it doesn't change anything. A 10 minute quest is not any different compared to a 2 minute quest

This is totally wrong! You need to do at least tens of quest to see the difference. Preferably hundreds.
We only know from Playa, according to Leander, that 4x X% < Y%, where X% and Y% is probability of find a fruit in short and long quests, respectively.
This is statistics and nothing more.
For someone doing only 100 thirst, short quests might be more attractive, but in terms of above long quests give better probability of fruit finding.

Dont do longer quests. Shorter quests, the better - unless someone can disprove it, shorter quests are obviously better.
2:30 and you can get 4 fruits, but 10:00 and you can get only one - and its not even 100%

Oh alright, I must have missed that note. Thank you, I'll just pick randomly next time I just must be unlucky with the earth habitat xD

Also from what recall seeing the longer the quest the better chance of finding a fruit. As long as there it no item reward b4 selecting the quest.

They used to be quest-specific but Playa changed it to random drops. It was announced in one of the patches.

    Link

"+ food can be found everywhere now regardless of quest text and location (if no item reward is displayed upon quest selection). Now all players have the same chance to find food regardless of offered quests and time of the day."

It is random? I thought that each fruit and pet had a specific place or a set of places where you could find them. Of course I'm taking quests randomly but I still haven't seen an apple in like a week

I know to level up one pet now, I've wasted some fruits on other pets but oh well, it happens

    Quests doesnt matter,it´s random.
Simply take shortest quests without items and then pray
And obviously, level up only one pet.

    Earth habitat help

    Hello everyone,

I really love the pets update and all, it's definitely great but I'm struggling with one of the most important habitats for my character, the earth habitat. I can't seem to find any apples from quests despite looking in 'forest' areas. Can someone help and tell me where I can find apples? Before you ask, I am taking quests without items when I can. The rest of my habitats are doing well, it's just the earth one I'm struggling with.

    Thanks
Working...
