Aura and Toilet question

So - I put items in the toilet and they are changed into items I cannot equip or sell

What do I do with the items that are changed?

Can we sell them or trade them with other players?

Depending on what level you are, you can put them on your followers in the tower.

If they are completely useless, then just dump them at one of the shops. You won't get anything for them, but it gets them out of your backpack.

Part of the trade off of putting items in the toilet is that it can't be sold for gold after it's been put through, but the upside is that the higher your toilet aura, the higher your stats on the epic items. (For each aura level, your stats are 4 points higher on epic items - so 50 aura will give you +200 stats).

It's certainly worth the trade.

Potions gives 10 points
Items give 25 points
Gems give 30 points
Epic gives 50 points

Also to add to what medusa posted the 4 points per stat is for 3 stat epics I don't think anyone has figured out the point bonus per aura level for all stat epics or normal items.
