    Critical hits

I noticed that very often, if the foe (quests/dungeon/arena) is left with a certain amount of health (say 5000) that you can kill him with a single critical but not with a normal hit, you actually hit a critical and kill him.

and that's the same if you are left with an amount of health such that the foe can kill you with a critical, he hits a critic. Am I going mad =) or this happens very often? :bw:

Well from what i learned attack power goes up 10%( or something like that )each time someone attacks the person

    Player 1 : 0% hits 100 , Player 2 : 0% hits 100 , Player 1 : 10% bonus hits 110 Player 2 : 10% bonus hits 110 , Player 1: 20% bonus hits 120 , and so on.

Well this is my theory that each attack get more damaging.

    Also its spelled critical :ar:

Also this should be under help and questions

(ok it's spelled critical and that's the wrong place to post this, I see - waiting mod to close or better, move.)

thx for the explanation, I didn't know that fact and it sounds interesting.

btw even if my final hit is the second of my hits (so I should hit only with a 10% bonus) this does not explain why this becomes a critical if that's my last hit, that suffices to kill the opponent.
I dont know, it seems like if a critical is enough to kill so you score a critical automatically. :bn:

I've moved and renamed the thread to "Critical hits". :ab:

=> The chance to get the first hit is 50% and pure luck.

=> A normal hit does normal damage (something between your minimum and maximum damage).

=> A critical hit does double damage. Your normal damage is doubled.

=> Each round the possible damage is increased by 1.4. It is simulated that both characters get angry. The longer a fight lasts, the higher their rage and their possible damage.

=> Luck is the chance for a critical hit. It can be up to 50%.

dosnt that mean well so first its 50% chance then u could have max so 50 add 50=100% so for some firsst hit will be critical?

I guess Leander meant that you have 50% just to be the first to hit; not to hit a critical with the first hit.

                      1) The battle starts.
                      2) The chance that you do damage first is 50%. The chance that your opponent does damage first is also 50%.

It has nothing to do with critical hits...it just says who does the first damage when the battle starts.
