I've read the main board rules, and among them is a rule about Guild/Forum Postings:
GUILD SUBFORUMS
a) Guild Introduction & Recruitment:
Each guild may post one thread to introduce itself and recrute new members
Multiple threads are regarded as spam
Keep your introduction clear and informative
Do not bump your thread more often than once day
b) Characters looking for Guilds:
Each character may post one thread to introduce him/herself and describe why he/she should be recruted by a guild
Keep your introduction clear and informative
Do not bump your thread more often than once a day
Yet, when I go within the Guild Forums, the rules there regarding Guild Forum Postings says this (Within W20's under "Guild Introduction and Recruitment"):

So, if I want to bump a recruitment ad, do I default to your main board rules or that which is within each of the sub-forums for Guild Postings?

The rules posted in the guild section apply, not the normal board rules. It just means don't bump your thread all the time. Once a week is ok.
