    Torture chamber

    I am not certain how this building work.

    I keep getting the same situation:
    Torture Chamber says that I can get 978 souls.

    I lure a hero, get 978 souls (including bonus), go into TC and now it says limit is 1012.

    I get those 1012 souls on next attack and the limit just like that increases.

    And the process keeps repeating over and over.


    Wouldn't it make more sense if TC would just say you get 20%, but no more then 500 (counting only extra souls) ?

    The logic is pretty simple, but I get why one can get confused. The Torture Chamber gives you 10% bonus per level for each attack. My torture chamber is level 5, so it gives me 50% bonus. It doesn't say 50%, but instead it says 1322 souls max. I am currently at "Max Souls at level 41". I go to the [Data Collection] thread and I see a level 41 hero gives me 881 souls. Multiply this by 1.5 and you will get 1322. Now you see it may be confusing, because the number changes on every attack, but the math is pretty simple

      Wait, what?

      I thought there was a cap on how much Torture Chamber could give you.... it never crossed my mind that it would only say how much you're getting right now.

      BUT wait a minute, Torture Chamber gives 10% no matter the level, right?
      I have lvl 4 and it says 10%.

        It says a 10% per level mate And if not, what would be the reward of improving it?

          Oh, right xD

          I don't know how this happened. From the start i was sure the thing displayed was the limit.

          Edit:
          I will say this: get rid of the word "max" from the Torture Chamber - its just confusing.
          Make it clear that this is the amount you currently get from a hero.

            The word "Max" may be confusing, but it is correct. When you lure a hero, it says "Max souls at level 41+". However, you can attack a level 20 hero and this will give you less souls.

              Yes, "max." has to remain in the game because people might think you'd get x Souls no matter what level you attack.

                Then how about:

                "You shall get a max of <x> souls if you defeat a hero of level no lower then <y>"

                That would explain everything, including the fact that you can fight higher level heroes, but you won't get more souls.

                    @Leander ich hab mal einen Blick in die Sprachdatei geworfen,
                    so sieht die Zeile momentan aus:

                    "underworld capabilities 06":"<grey>%5 max. <souls> per hero<\/grey><br>"
                    Wenn man sie so ändern würde, müsste wie beim Text vor den Button der Goblins auch das Level angezeigt werde:
                    Code:
                    "underworld capabilities 06":"<grey>%5 max. <souls> per hero at level %3+<\/grey><br>"
                    So müsste es für die deutschsprachige Version aussehen,
                    Original:
                    Code:
                    "underworld capabilities 06":"<grey>max. %5 <souls> pro Held<\/grey><br>"
                    Modifikation:
                    Code:
                    "underworld capabilities 06":"<grey>max. %5 <souls> pro Held ab Stufe %3<\/grey><br>"
                    Das wäre aufjedenfall meine Vermutung, ich kanns ja nicht prüfen.

                    %5 scheint dafür zu sorgen, dass der Wert der max. Seelen angezeigt wird; %3 scheint dem Spiel zu befehlen das momentane max. Level anzuzeigen.

                          @Aruturu i suggested to change "<x> max. Souls per hero" to "<x> max. Souls per hero at level <y>+". I also showed how it probably should look in the language file.
