    Evasion

First sry if i posted in wrong place but my question is :
Does evasion by mages work for archers only or for warriors too??
And is there a formula how u can calculate evasion like, lets say luck u can have max 50%, is it with eavasion the same thing ?? what means having 50 and 250 ?? i need to see the diference. Thx for answers

Archers can evade warriors and archers. (Warriors can block archers and warriors. Mages can´t be blocked or evaded.)
From level 10 an archer has a 50% chance to evade (against someone of the same level, the chance is lower, if the enemy has a higher level.)
Luck tells you, how big the chances are for a critical strike (with double damage).

    I hope that helps you.

Mages can´t be blocked or evaded. I know this but my question was can mages evade ???and it was all about that. is there a formula to know how much evasion = evade (like an archer/warr attacks a mage and the mage evades. So how much evasion is lets say 50% of evading ingame)

          Oh, no, mages can´t evade.
I haven´t looked it up, but the mouseover of the skill dexterity says "evasion" or something like that. That is, because these mouseover texts are alle the same for each class. If you skill your mage on dexterity he will never be able to evade, but you get less damage from his attacks.
I can´t remember the formula exactly but I think it was something easy, like if you have 200 skillpoints on dexterity, an archer attacks you with 200 dex less. But let´s see, if someone else knows it for sure.
With strengh it is the same. You can´t block, but a warrior attacks less strong, when you have big skills in strengh.

            Here´s a brief overview:

            WARRIORS...

...can block other warriors and scouts up to 25% but not mages.
...can have armour up to 50%. It protects them against other warriors and scouts but not mages.

            SCOUTS...

...can evade other scouts and warriors up to 50% but not mages. The chance is already maxed at level 10 or higher so you have less than 50% only for the very first levels.
...can have armour up to 25%. It protects them against warriors and other scouts but not mages.

            MAGES...

...can neither block nor evade an attack.
...can have armour up to 10%. It protects them against warriors and scouts but not other mages.

            DAMAGE CALCULATION...

Every character reduces his/her opponent´s attack by "attacker´s primary attribute/2".

Example: a warrior has 2000 strength. His opponent has 1000 strength. 1000/2 = 500 are subtracted from the strength of 2000...so the warrior does not attack with a strength of 2000 but 1500.

The value of 1500 is now used for the damage formula displayed in the game: weapon damage * (1+primary attribute/10).

In this example, the damage done is weapon damage * (1+1500/10).

However, the total damage is reduced by the defender´s armor %.

Conclusion: mages are pretty defenseless as they can neither block or evade and only can have a maximum armour of 10%. However, their attacks cannot be blocked or evaded either and they do high damage as they neglect their opponent´s armour. All armour is 0 for all classes when a mage attacks.

Maybe a mage dressed up as an archer or the other way round.
Just joking...no, mages cannot evade for sure.
