About account sitting

I want a friend of mine to account sit my account. Do i have to write that down somewhere or he just logs in and thats all? Also.. what is the maximum length he can account sit me? I am asking this cause i am going to the army and i will be away for 2-3 weeks

You don't have to announce it. Just log in and play. However, only let your friend sit your account if you can trust him. Account sittings may range from 24 hours to 21 days (3 weeks).
