For me it would be good to have an auction/market for players who want to either trade(with a small premium added) or to straight out buy another players unwanted equipment.

New Ideas for S&F - Official Thread

It's a long post, so please bare with it!
1. PvE Arena - here you can fight monsters(once a day) earning gold and exp, while earning different titles like Gladiator or Master of beasts. The titles gain may differ from class to class.
2. Battle Banners - completed by finding the missing pieces(during quests). Once completed will offer small bonuses, maybe different for each class(5-15% block chance for warrior, 5-15% dodge chance for scout, 5-15% more armor for mage etc.)
3. Pets - Each with it's unique aspects and bonuses. A few examples: aiding in PvP battles(+5% critical chance), helpful in quests(more gold, more exp), in dungeons(10% chance to attack an undefeated monster again with no mushroom), more work hours(+1-5 hours) etc. Captured during quests and/or bought from a special shop(some with money, some with mushrooms depending on the quality of the bonuses offered).
4. Battle Master - after a number of consecutive wins in PvP arena the player will receive a small amount of exp for each battle won. The wins must be made against players of equal lvl(or higher) to validate the effect.
5. Crafting items - players can experiment creating weapons and/or armor using different bits of material(found during quests or shops).

A lot of good ideas so far, thank you.There's still time to post your thoughts. The community feedback I'll send to Playa should be a massive book full of wonderful and exciting ideas.

I suggest a player's refuge... like the one playa has established in bloodmoon...
this home would improve as level improves (including special decorations for shroomers)
and could feature
- A note board so you can take notes only you can see
- A chest for extra storage
- Some bonuses like xp or gold
- A function to sleep for 1 - 3 hours to wake up feeling rested and have some buffs like increased stats for 7 hours

1. Add sockets to some items where you can put different gems with different attributes enhancements. 2. Create something like a forge where you can also create this sockets on the current items and upgrade your armour until a maximul limit is reached for each item.
3. Add bonus if you wear all(some) items from the same suit.
4. Add extra storage to the mount or to the character or rent this storage from someone(pawn shop)
5. Add character guilds' history where you can see when the character changed the guild. This is useful when you need to see the loyalty of someone before you can invite him to the guild. Also, total donations can be added here.
6. Create new special events where all the players can join(defeat some powerful monster, mag, dragon...) and receive a reward(unique item, experience, gold) after the victory.
Some guilds events might be also useful. Here we can think about wars between guild aliancies and armies of enemis.
7. Create the possibility to invest some money into the town, shop or some "industrial building" and get a daily/monthly revenue from it. Add some administrative operations that can be done to get more money for upgrades.
I will come back with more ideas if will be needed

Lots of nice ideas, so I will repeat those I like and add some new:
- World boss: Huge monster that appears once per day/week/month and needs many players to defeat him...When we get one, next is Bigger and stronger. Also , when monster in defeated, we get new/unique loot from it!
- Witch: need to be revamped..to have lvl 2., lvl3....with more bonus or just different. Eg. weapon can have fire or ice dmg bonus, Helm can boost int, chest str, gloves dex....etc.
- Crafting: where you can disasseble and craft new items, and ungrade one you have...
- Pot store: no need to explain.
- Unique item: That can be available for one week and you have to gain it doing various things: Win 100 PvP, do 150 quests, do 100 critticals....
- Mail revamp: Different folders for players mail, PvP...
- Game revamp: add some movement, shine things, players wall with more space..
- Video part: where you can save 10/20/50 favorite videos from PvP, PvE, tower fights, guild fights, guild wars...
- Flying Tube revamp...So players from all counties can get it, not only from some. I live in Serbia and I saw flying tube only once since it was introduced. And I play 320 thirst every day!!!!
- Group fights: where 3/5 players can challenge other players
- Group Tower: you pick 3 players to be your team in tower adventureAll must be different class, as team minions are. Those players also got some reward. And can/cannot be from same guild!
- Music: Some nice music while you play , hehe
- New items for SB and for use
- Bigger inventory

Let your mount participate in mount battles.Dragon vs. dragon just like in the PvP arena. You can also upgrade the dragon, buy equipment or unlock spells.

I have made the following suggestion on my server's forum, but the local gamestaff (not Coma, just a forum mod) decided i was talking about "double ownership", locked the thread and dumped it on forum's file.
Anyway, i will translate the suggestion here seeking the community's thoughts as well as Leander's thoughts.
INGAME SITTER OPTION
One more idea which in my opinion is of great importance and has to be implemented.
For people who don't know, a sitter is a player that plays our account temporarily when for personal reasons we can't.
Sitting is already allowed by the rules BUT demands sharing our password with the sitter as well as giving him full freedom over our account. In my opinion this is why the majority of players is afraid to use this option.
With an ingame sitter option we could:
1. Authorize a sitter through "Options", who will be able to login with our username but HIS password.
2. The sitting period will be from a minimum of 24 hours to 21 days, exactly as described in the rules. The sitting period ends as soon as the original owner logins again.
3. Sitter will have limited options over our account (yet necessary for our toon's progress)
HE WILL BE ALLOWED TO:
a. Complete quests and buy beer
b. Use the toilet, city guard, dungeons and tower.
c. Take part in guild wars.
d. Enter the arena
e. Buy potions and equipment that DON'T require mushrooms.
f. Sell items ONLY from the inventory.
HE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO:
a. Buy a mount. The original owner has to do that (for the time he will be gone) so we can avoid excess use of shrooms.
b. Click on "New products" at the shops. Same reasons.
c. Click on "skip" during quests. Same reasons.
d. Attempt dungeons or tower levels with shroom usage. (before the 1 hour break) Same reasons.
e. Donate shrooms to the guild. Same reasons.
f. Buy items that cost shrooms.
g. Extract any gear from our toon or the followers. So he won't be able to sell it.
I think it is really odd an option like this is not available in a game that requires 2 to 6 hours daily and is also endless. Each and every player has to leave for a short period of time at SOME point.. And not all of them have a friend they can absolutely trust with their account, password and shrooms. Not to mention that skipping a week or 3 weeks of action is not an option either.
I have not yet thought of all the details of this project but i guess you get the picture.

krhth thats a big project to implement to the game, and does nothing to add new content or value to the game... yes it makes life easier for the gamers, but it is not something that will change the game or add new players to the servers... Especially when all this can be done just by contacting a CoMa and letting him know that you put a friend sit your account. Now, if you dont trust that person and he doesnt return your account, you always have the proof of ownership of the account and you can easily be given back your account.... So, nice idea, but too much fuss for nothing (and doesnt add anything new to the game). Thats my 2 cents*************************************
