Yeah thats a good idea, i like the idea of a global chat feature but one which you can choose to look at, not one thats forced on you!

It'd be nice to have it tied it to the chat room on the forum, also. I know the accounts aren't associated, but the name could be preceded by an indicator.

[Game] Joby: "Man, I just failed my third consecutive quest!"
[Forum] JobyKSU: "Ha! You loser!"

yeah i think that would make the game a lil better although you have to remember, whilst your on a quest you can not enter the tavern, would be nice to chat whilst you are waiting to finish a quest...therefore maybe be better for an extra button on the left to enter a chat room. xD
