Gem Search impedes Fast Upgrade of Gem Mine

But why not offer both? I don't want to spend 35 mushrooms on searching, but I do want the option to fast upgrade the gem mine.

Why MUST you fast search gems in order to upgrade the mine?

Wait, I misinterpreted your screenshot. You are able to search for gems while upgrading the building anyway...now you can wait for the gem or spend mushrooms to instantly mine the gem.

I guess spending mushrooms to mine the gem will show the window to instantly finishing the building...so everything's ok. It's obvious people will rather spend 35 to mine the gem than hundreds or thousands of for the building.

I believe ... based on the 12 days and 9 hours remaining, I started this on Friday, the day after the update. This would mean I started the upgrade 2 days and 15 hours ago?

Did you start the upgrade before the update went live?

I'm prohibited from Fast Upgrading my Gem Mine without Fast Searching for Gems ... There should be a button that allows me to choose either choice.
