Connection problems since last patch

Since the last patch has hit the servers, I've been getting all kinds of connection problems. I play on STEAM

I am getting this pop-up (image above) all the time, and if I click OK, it throws me back at the login screen (and I have to log in again), the only "solution" is to ignore it (clicking the X), but it gets annoying since that pop-up appears every 20 seconds or so.

Also, since the patch, I have problems logging in, if I want to log in, I have to click the character (it then proceeds to "loading" with the giant shroom, like in the picture), then I have to click again to stop loading, and click the same character, and at that point it might load. It seems sometimes the connection to the sever cannot be established, which has never happened before the patch.

Obviously, I have checked that the internet problems are not on my end.

Anyone else having the same issues? I play on STEAM.

What's your server? How long has your problem been an issue?

I play on s1.ca, s3.nl and s9.us. It does not depend on the server I am on, it even seems that pop up appears when there is no real connection issue.

I don't know if you want to be ironic or not but I am going to make things a bit more clear for you;
He said he plays on Steam, he attached a screen with the error on Remastered... (Edit) as for the connection type I don't think it matters since he said the problem is not from his side so he probably checked his connection using a site or 3rd party software.. not trying to be salty or anything.. xD

I encountered the issue as well, first on 2.0 months ago when I started playing the game again, and recently (since last patch or before I think) on Remastered, although I don't play often on that one..
I play on a laptop & use a Wi-Fi connection and I am 100% sure the problem is not on my end either.. I have a pretty decent build. (2017 laptop, 2 GB GDDR5 dedicated GPU -AMD RX540-, quad-core 2.7 GHz CPU -AMD FX-9800P- and 8 GB RAM...and a 256 GB SSD...)

So, a competent answer would be nice; can you forward the issue, please?
