Well ... here we go again ... upgrading items LOSES crystals

I'll post the screenshots then edit and come back with the calculations, but you can see this easily yourself.

No Upgrades - 3,959,688 and 652,048

Upgraded Once - 3,954,713 and 652,048 ... upgrade cost correct

Upgraded Twice - 3,947,837 and 652,014 ... upgrade cost correct

Dismantled - 3,960,506 and 655,128 ... not good

You're expecting 12,753 Metal and 3,418 Crystal but get 12,669 Metal and 3114 Crystal

You're getting gypped with upgrades still

has this changed? because dismantling DID give back most of the metal above

How about when you extract a gem?

Can you double check? I believe in all 3 cases you get back your resources.

Upgrading an item does increase how much you gain for dismantling the item but even more for selling.

For example, I upgraded an epic 6 times and would gain 1,017 and 2,034 for dismantling it and 50,390 and 23,971 for selling it.

Ran some tests and it seems the display of resources gained back for dismantling an item is wrong.

I start with 70,430 metal, 1,287 arcane.

I have an item that would give me 1,500 and 15 for dismantling it.
I upgrade it twice for 5,586 and 16.

Now I have 64,838 and 1,271 but I am supposed to have 64,844 and 1,271.
Might be a rounding issue.

Now the display error: after upgrading the item twice is has a low dismantling value of 1,610 and 16 although I spend 5,586 and 16 on the upgrade.

Then I dismantle the item and do not receive only 1,610 and 16 but 6,973, 31

Seems it works, but the resource gain is incorrectly displayed.

I got back almost all metal including the cost of upgrading by dismantling in the OP ... you can see here

What would be the point of this? The blacksmith has nothing to do with the shopkeepers, why would those give you crystals? in that case better remove the dismantling feature altogether, because there is no daily limit on selling.

He means upgraded items. Shops give you resources back for upgraded items, not normal.

It's a weapon that has been in the toilet. You can only get resources back from other toilet tagged items but NOT on toilet tagged weapons.

It is not a bug but feature. Lame exploit issue resolve.
