It worked fine in private mode till the update on 4th May 2021 (version 8.100). Since then the game gets stuck on the loading page in private mode as well as in normal mode with chronicle deactivated.

Didn't happen before the Unity upgrade. Game was butter smooth on same router.

Don't know if this applies to this issue, but I do get "Server unavailable due to maintenance" 20-50 times per day, lag when doing things like the raffle at the gambler losing out on that try of raffle, starting a pet fight or arena fight, resulting in an error message. In the arena manager, it's slow to upgrade, as every 10-20 seconds, there's lag for 1-5 seconds.
Have tried looking into my firewall and browser settings, but these things happens even when playing on mobile and Steam. Even when logging in on a friend or family member's PC or phone on a completely different network, wired or WiFi.

Using an old Unity version is not the solution as normally, every new version improves the engine.
We asked the Unity devs and they did not know what might cause the problem.
How many of you still have it?

I don't know what kind of debugging/developer tools are available on unity - but it should be possible for a Playa developer to narrow down to the part consuming the resources. If it happens in the unity engine code - then raise a ticket with them.
I am sure you will get back any money you may have paid for raising the ticket, if it is a genuine bug in the unity engine.
It happens already in the landing/login page, where nothing is supposed to happen... I tried different browsers and different computers. It is highly reproducible. I can raise a ticket with Playa, but I was answered already back in May 2020 that the devs were looking into it.

Only solution I see would be to revert back to unity version that worked fine for everyone ...

If Unity does not know, nobody knows, sorry.
If the browser version does not work well, please use the Steam version or send a support ticket with all required details.

I see update 9.1 is coming out now.
Has this bug been fixed - or nobody has looked into it yet?
