Will this update be available on the old version as well as on remastered? What about Steam?

The new portal is only the new dungeon. The image is already displayed even if your server hasn't received the update yet. s1.de is still the only one with the update due to testing.

All items will be in the scrapbook, the ones that haven't been included before the update and also new birthday epics...same for all monsters.

The percentage is a bit lower but it affects all players alike. When other games (on Steam for example) add new content, the achievement counter slightly decreased as well. Keeping it at 100%, then adding new ones...would be too chaotic. Obviously, nobody can have more than 100% (not possible mathematically) and a "have 100% of old achievements, now you have x% of the new ones" and "100% of old achievements, x% of birthday update achievements, y% of an upcoming update achievements" would be too complicated.

Thanks for your feedback! I understand you had higher expectations but a birthday update doesn't necessarily mean it will be the most awesome update ever or appropriate for a 10-year-anniversary. We wanted to implement several handy features, fix bugs and finish the construction site of the scrapbook for example.

When developing Remastered we couldn't add new content either as we coded the entire game from scratch.

Therefore, the birthday update is what it is and I understand you would have expected more but that does not mean we consider ourselves satisfied now.

Remember that the birthday update hasn't been the only update of the year.

Last year, the summer update which implemented the daily quest was bigger than the birthday update so... i guess we have to wait one or two more months, who knows?

Kind of sad to hear Leander, that it's all we get right now. I was naïvely expecting this was just the beginning of the 10 years anniversary. I just wonder - which are the "10 big surprises"??

Overall, I am happy with the gold mine update (which has been requested for quite a long time).
I look forward to the new dungeon and see what it is.
For the rest, it looks like a minor service release to me. I am happy the scrapbook has been updated; I dont care of the bonus reduction, as it affects us all.


I hope playa will fix the gold mine on flash (enabling me to empty it while building). Flash remains my preferred platform as it offers faster reaction, less network traffic and lower cpu. Graphics are nice on webgl, but it's not worth the pain for me.

Does this mean we should unequip our shoes and place them in the inventory and wait until December 6 at midnight and one second passes by? As if Santa is coming down the chimney to place the achievement in our scrapbook if he sees our naked feet and our shoes in our inventory?

Is it 00:01 server time or 00:01 local time?

Henry It's explained in the manual. "Scrapbook:

Use the Scrapbook to collect more than 2000 stickers in the game! Every Item you find or buy and every Monster you defeat on Quests or in the Dungeons adds a sticker. The more stickers you have, the higher your XP bonus.

Reaching level 85 lets you find the Holy Grail in the Gem Mine! Drink from it and stickers not collected yet will wobble in the Hall of Fame and the Shops."

Be a collector and complete your scrapbook with new achievements, new birthday epics that can be only found till June 30 and all missing epics and monster stickers!
Be meticulous first but slow down later: Missing scrapbook stickers now wobble in the hall of fame and in shops from level 85 on after finding the Holy Grail in the mine!

We never said the birthday update would have a ton of new content. "Birthday update" is just another update just like a spring, summer or winter update. Yes, we do celebrate the game's 10th birthday but we didn't say this occasion would automatically have a huge update.

Yes. The text was shortened due to lack of space. Unequip your shoes and have them in your inventory on December 6, 00:01 server time.

As always. The button "Extract gem" is "change look" now and the very first top-left button is "socket upgrade" and "extract gem", depending on your item (if it has a slot and a gem or no slot).
EDIT Of course you can also use the right mouse button and context menu.
