What the guild do:
1) Give extra EXP. current bonus is +34% of what you gain from battles
2) Share the Knights Hall bonuses to levels of gems found for all members. currently +19 added to the level you build your gem mine up to

Update to tell you how it went.
I found another guild looking for resources, it was well manned though so instead of raiding I contacted the guild owner asking if he would like to merge. And he would So I have ditched 'Villows Vikings' and joined his (bigger) guild 'Ferxx'. Guild leaders name is 'Moldi' and he is looking for more members so if you have a good fortress to offer as a wedding gift I expect he will let you in too. (Guilds Gem level bonus is determined by the sum of all Knight Hall levels, so the bigger the better )
