    Runes XP bonus question

    Aplogies in advance if this was answered before, I did not check previous threads nor FAQ.
    I have sets of equipment that when worn have following effect on quest:

    Despite having rune bonus 2% higher on one set, why is total xp the same in both cases?

    When you swap your gear after the quest has already been generated, it does not take effect for that set of quests (despite the % updating).
    Meaning you need all runes equipped before entering a tavern.

        is not exactly correct. It will take effect only on midnight reset or when previous quest ends (so new one is generated).

          It is not very well explained in the manual in my opinion.

          Some bonuses are applied at the quest generation (just like the other said above, the item rune XP bonus is concerned here), and some are applied "live", such as the enchanted helm/ring bonuses. I don't know what it implies in the coding of the game itself, but it would seriously be a good thing to harmonize all this, and have enchants/bonus/runes/whatever all work the same way.
