Upgrading companions in the "remastered" version

Why not?

You dont need click many times on dungeon button. You can move your items between main character and companions faster, you can upgrade items directly from companion and you dont have to take it off (very good when you dont have free space). For me its a good change.

How do I upgrade my companions in this ... "remastered" version?
I clicked on every single menu as it might be hidden like the pets (btw why??!?)
but no luck...
Any ideas?

found it... its those arrows next to my character... why did this have to be changed?
