what happened to the old app

so yesterday the old app( the newest one before the remastered one) was fine this morning I login to it and it is the remastered version that shows up. I use IoS. did apple make Playa only use the remastered version for either app or did something go crazy and use the remastered instead. if it was done on purpose it would have been nice to get a heads up that it was happening.

Unfortunately, the old app no longer works. The old version required Adobe Air but it is no longer supported by Adobe. Therefore, Remastered is the only version from now on, sorry.

Great, since the update I can’t play anymore on my ipad air.

It starts loading the game and then after freezing on the last 5% of the loading bar for a while, just crashes to desktop. (Exactly the same problems i had with the seperate remastered app).

IOS is up to date, closed all apps, tried changing connection, resetting connection, rebooting ipad, even reinstalling app a couple of times, but nothing works. I even tried again to install the seperate remastered app.

As soon as i am forced to upgrade the app on my iphone, i have no more way to play this game.

You need to uninstall the app, then install the new app. Sorry, it is the only way because of the reasons posted before.

yeah was soooooooooo nice of Playa to give us a heads up that this was gonna happen. I can understand the why but not the exaction of letting the player base know.

4 days since I have sent a ticket. No reply yet, not even got a confirmation my ticket was received yet. Still cant play on iPad. Great service.

If you don't receive the auto reply and a ticker number, check your spam folder. If nothing is there sending the ticket hasn't been successful. In this case please send it again. Some providers don't work that well...what's yours?

My guildleader has the exact same problem. He deleted and reinstalled the app, he's updated his iOS, nothing worked. He hasn't been able to play since the update and now he's on the verge of buying himself an iPhone7, hoping this phone will run the app without problems. My questions are: on which devices does this problem occur? Surely not on all Apple devices or it would have rained complaints here. Will the iPhone7 run the game or is my friend up for a major disappointment?

I hope you can clarify this, I don't want him to spend lots of money for nothing. Thanks in advance :-)

An iPhone 6+. The old app used to work on an iPhone 5 but the new version does not.

after saying in this thread i cant play shakes on iPad Air anymore, you told me to file a ticket. It took me 3 attempts before your system managed, to register my complaint, that I couldn't play shakes on iPad Air anymore. And after all that YOU (Leander), replied to my ticket, asking which version of iPhone i use.... so what was the point of filing that ticket???

Could you PLEASE start reading the tickets/posts and give an answer and solve the problem already.

We need tickets for better communication, processing and details.

I am sorry the app no longer works but we can't do anything. The old version does not work anymore due to a change on Apple's side. Adobe Air is no longer supported but it would be required for the old iOS app to run. Therefore, Remastered is the only iOS version and it doesn't run on all devices the old app worked on. For example, playing the new app on an iPhone 5 does not work. You need an iPhone 6 or better.
