First player in w13
 

Currently, the first rank in the new server belongs to Dakonvago.
He is at least 10 levels higher from any other player, although he does not belong to a guild, so he does not get the bonuses.
Is he legitimate?
Is he a player controlled by Playa as a bait for everyone to put money to "catch" him to please their Ego?
I ll watch him in the longrun, because such phenomena have been common in the start of some Greeks servers, in which some players sky-rocketed in the beggining, reaching level 150-200 and after many players paid for :shroom::shroom::shroom: in order to catch them, they disappeared, or they went inactive.
What do you think?

I am not playing in that server but one point could be: he/she is playing in a rotation guild. Usually at the beginning of a new server is pretty normal expert players play in a guild with this method.

Fidget mate Playa does not need such stupid tricks to make people spend money in the game. As Kirur mentioned, he obviously belongs in a rotation guild

Don't forget that Playa is just another company.
And if Dakonvago is not a good example, these behaviors have been seen in many servers.

1) If playa wanted to do that, why would that player be without a guild ? :D :D :D
2) If someone is way higher level than you are, when you are a mushroomer, you will feel less motivated to spent mushrooms because you know you just can´t catch up to someone like that.

On the start of some greek servers, lots of German or other players joined, ruled the HoF for some months with their own guilds, which they had with other similar levels and then disappeared. I mean they literally deleted their accounts. Why would anyone do that? I admit that the example of w13 may not be right, but you have to consider some of my points.

Do note that some might be banned for using improper methods for playing, like bots and such, or having multiple accounts and what not.

Assuming one or two people were behind this, it would make sense for a whole guild to disappear overnight.

As for some people levelling much faster than others -- do note that S&F does have a strategy component - if you're just blasting away doing quests without paying much attention, it's extremely easy for an organized player to blow you out of the water, even if you do the same thirst every day.

Some common pitfalls when powerleveling (there may be more!) :
- you start playing the game and don't get a 50% mount before your first quest, because you consider it a waste
- once you get to level 10, you continue questing. (You should spam the magic shop to get the scrapbook, and then spend ~100-150 shrooms to get it to at least 20% from lowbie PvP before doing a single quest more!).
- not being in a power levelled guild. Do note that if you want to powerlevel, ALL your resources (including gold) should go there, not helping your guild (your can support it via shrooms only), so you need a couple of buddies farming gold to support the guild in its first steps.
- ?? ( feel free to add more tips for fast leveling! )

Assuming you avoid the pitfalls above, you should ding lvl 20 with your first 300 thirst. Personally I like the challenge but it fades quickly, I did the at the launch of W12 and was top level player (and within top 5 of HoF) for the first few days. Don't remember the level I actually reached before getting bored and going back to my main toon on UK2.

If you buy many shrooms or complete offers that reward a lot of mushrooms it is much easier to gain a high level than it was some time ago. You can shroom through dungeons AND get the pet bonuses.

Playa does not create accounts and play them. It would not make sense.

now El Cruncho is pretty good. looks like lvl 100 in 9 days or something like this :D

LOL ppl are worrying about ppl showing no guild being in top of HoF just seen on German forum that ppl are reaching lvl 300 in 4-6 months on older servers. So someone being 10 lvls above everyone else in a rotation guild is very possible.

i didn´t want to say something about that, just wanted to point this out in this thread. because this are now 2 different players we are talking about in this thread so you see it´s all about how you play this effectively ;)
