I used too be able to lose myself in a certain franchise of RPG game and play long, long hours, but mostly that was just until I finished the game, and then I could walk away.

If I play the game again today, I would play for many hours.

I don't know that it would be considered an addiction (at least for me), but just a desire to see the end of the game.

It is the same way I am with a book. When I get a new book and start reading it, I have a hard time putting it down until I've finished it - much to my eyes' detriment. Are they going to add reading to mental health disorders?

I'll be interested to read the wording in this and how they will be able to say what is an addiction to gaming and what is just playing hard.
Women are angels, and when someone breaks our wings, we continue to fly ... ON A BROOMSTICK ... because we are flexible like that.
