I would only recommend going full 10/10 in endgame anyway, when you change items seldomly enough to make it worth the effort.

As for the gold vs perma stats... assuming you've maxxed out stat cost at 10M, dumping the crappy items ( sub 2M ) makes the gold cost relatively low.

However it's quite impossible to say until we figure out formulas for the dismantling rewards as well as the item improvement costs, to be able to compare with average item prices.

That'w what I noticed too, but well, thanks for the official info.
Now the study is gonna working on two last things:
The evolution of the cost for any upgrade level for both basic and epic items.

Once this done, I will be able to tell you guys how much time the better you upgrade one item depending on the item, your level, and your way to play

after all, as hexblot said, we all know now it's useless to try to upgrade the higher as possible any item, because the cost is too high. And don't forget your tower heroes, you can upgrade their items too... That's why determine "when" to stop upgrading is the most important for me, and I think well for everyone.

Thanks for your study! Please note that a mage and scout weapon gives 2x resources but costs 2x resources for each upgrade. If it is 4x or more, it is a bug! 2x is the correct value.

Yeah, I have read your post on the feedback topic about.
So far I have noticed that cost have a direct link to the rarity and the stats of an item... There is no random impact at all, I didn't expected that o:
just need enough values for all levels of upgrades then It will be easy for me to conclude about

After some testings I founded that the dismantling rewards have a negligible random impact on, no random impact for upgrade costs and gem socket addition, both for the gem extraction.
Seems through that there is no link between the ability on an item to give arcane essences when dismantling and the nature of the item. The ability is just also random, let's say ~50% basic items can give arcane essences, and of course 100% for the epics.
I have to not forget talking about in the future tutorial ^^


I think I will let this study on for a long time, maybe a month, maybe more... It will be very long to get values for higher upgrades, first because it's really expensive, and second because it's no worth for the most people.
I will write the tutorial and publish it before the ending of this study... Let's say I will really start thinking about during this week-end.

Hello everyone,
after some testings I just discovered something horrible... And sure poor players will suffer from it.

If you take a basic item, you can see the price is a lot higher than an epic item of the same level. Why? I might have an answer...

Just take a look at these values:
1)BASIC: 1X 605 => 3267 Metal
1) EPIC: 3X 629 => 3423 Metal
1)BASIC: 1X 643 => 3514 Metal

See? For the basic items, the stat determine the price. But the same way as tri-stats epics.
That means upgrade a Basic item witch gives let's say 1X600 stats will be the SAME COST as one Epic tri-stats witch gives 3X600 stats.

One more thing... About basics items giving two stats, I have tested one and the conclusion is kinda the same:
1) EPIC: 3X 390 => 1929 Metal
1)BASIC: 1X 248 + 1X 398=> 1975 Metal

The cost is determined by the higher stat for the basic item, so if there is 248 and 398, only 398 counts and impose the price.


Every player who stuff theirselves with basic items will suffer upgrading for a lot higher prices for their levels.
That's not fair...

Curiously, this problem doesn't extend to full stats epics:
2) EPIC: 3X 319 => 2020 Metal | 10 Arcane Ressources
2) EPIC: 5X 340 => 2714 Metal | 13 Arcane Ressources
2) EPIC: 3X 373 => 2438 Metal | 12 Arcane Ressources

As you can see here, the formula of the cost depending on the stats is different, so there is no problem.

We can definitively say no-shroomer people are ****ed up in all ways...!!

I have from 2x to 3x mage lvl 372 cost values dont know if you need anymore or now only at higher upgrades?!
