Post XP cap info and formulas.

Heyhey,

Thanks to sfdb.overi.net and some help from guildies i figured out some xp things.

At level 175, 200, 225, 250, 275 and at level 300 the xp you get at quests/guild fights gets reduced. Possible even before that, but the difference is so small you wont notice.

From level 174 to 175 the xp you get per quest/guild fights gets reduced by 15%
From level 199 to 200 the xp you get per quest/guild fights gets reduced by 20%
From level 224 to 225 the xp you get per quest/guild fights gets reduced by 20%
From level 249 to 250 the xp you get per quest/guild fights gets reduced by 30%
From level 274 to 275 the xp you get per quest/guild fights gets reduced by 45%
From level 299 to 300 the xp you get per quest/guild fights gets reduced by 50%

Its possible that I’m off by a few %, but I tried to keep it as accurate as possible. Here is the spreadsheet i used to calculate it all:

A few facts:
- Your level and guild bonus determines the amount of experience you get each guild fight.
- XP of a dungeon is always the same. Whether you are level 300 or 250, you will always get the same experience.
- A level 300 gets about the same amount of experience per quest as a level 190.
- A level 298 gets about the same amount of experience per quest as a level 248.

How to use this to your advantage:
Since there is an xp cap every 25 levels, its best to wait with dungeons when at level 224 or 249 and continue with dungeons at level 225-250, since the xp has more value then. Obviously the higher the level the more it matters.

Greetings,
Fullpowerahead

PS: if I made any grammar mistakes blame Nikalien! … he/she/it had absolutely nothing to do with this post, but blame him anyway

It would appear that at level 300 no-one would get any XP according to your statement.

reduce something with 100% and you are left with nothing.

100-100%(100)=0, zilch, noppes, nada, niente.

you should re-look your numbers, levels and probably the formulas because I did not understand a thing.
and pay close attention at the levels you are giving for examples all of them are groups of 1 level or mentioning something like "224-249" and "225- 250" as two different groups.

the numbers make me think that
your argument is invalid.

PS: I blame Nikalien for this

Leander, Why is it that we get punished for leveling with xp reductions? Do you guys NOT want us to reach Level 999?

Sorry, but I should disagree with this. It's much more interesting to level up slowly than being level 543050...

most people become bored at level 300+, simply because it takes you two weeks to gain 1 level if you use 50% mount, 300 thirst a day and have fairly good guild bonuses (160% or more)

so yes, at level 200 it might be fun the fact it is "hard" to level, but after a point (level 300+) it gets quite tiresome and boring

You're thinking only in one way, because you're shroomer & you want to help as more as you can to your guild and I understand you, but there's another way too. The dungeons will be too weak(350 lvl atm). They should make every month more and more dungeons, which I think it's not possible.
