Default 'The Heaven' - Guilds Fortress

Good afternoon everyone!

I've been thinking about this concept for a couple of months now, and decided that I gathered enough information to make an official presentation of this.

The Heaven - what is it?
After the last two fortress-types content (Fortress and Underworld), I thought about implementing this into guilds, and see if I would come up with something decent.

Why 'Heaven'?
Really straight forward:
- fortress sounds like something neutral
- underworld is the dark version of the fortress
- guild is the "light" side of the fortress.

The Heaven design is focus on ancient Greek architecture: imagine wonders like the Parthenon and other white (because white represents light and good, which heaven is suppose to represent) buildings, floating in clouds, in your heaven!

When is this unlocked?
Fortress is unlocked at level 25, and underworld requires a level 10 mine gem. Following this logic, underworld is dependent of your progress on the fortress. So, I believe that Heaven should be dependent of your guilds progress. I don't want this to be for high-level players only, but I also don't want it to be instantly - unlocked. So, I came up with the following options :

- 45 guild raids defeated.
- 20 guild portals defeated.
- at least one player (leader or officer) at level 325.

For me, level 325 isn't high level, and I want this feature to give some good bonuses to help to surpass long term objectives. Tell me what you think about this!

Main objective
I don't want another hall of fame where you can compete with each other and once you finished every building, there's nothing left. Let's make that clear. So, if getting rank 1 is not the goal, what is it?
The Heaven is specially designed to boost some bonuses for members of each guild. Since this content starts in mid-levels, it's going to spread until levels 400, 450. If we already start thinking about upcoming updates for high-end accounts (like dungeons), every boost on bonuses are important.

Buildings in Heaven
I decided to accomplish collective bonus with each building. However, the main question was about the cost of each upgrade: should we create a building just for resources? Or use already existing resources?

After some deep thoughts, here's what I came up to:
  • HEAVEN - MAIN BUILDING
The main building of your guild's fortress that determines the other buildings level. Pretty standard building. You can upgrade it with gold, wood and stone. Up to level 10.
  • STATUE OF FIDGET
Increases each class damage attribute (intelligence for mages, dexterity for archers, etc) by 5% each level. Up to level 10. You can upgrade it with gold and souls.
  • STATUE OF SHAKES
Increases your constitution stats by 5% each level. Up to level 10. You can upgrade it with gold and souls.
  • MINE OF GODS
Increases gems stats by 5% each level. Up to level 10. You can upgrade it with gold, wood and stone.
  • WISDOM SANCTUARY
Increases your guilds instructor bonus by 10% each level. Up to level 10. You can upgrade it with gold and souls.
  • MANSION OF THE RICHEST
Increases your guilds treasure bonus by 10% each level. Up to level 10. You can upgrade it with gold and souls.
  • KNIGHTS MEMORIAL
Increases the probability for critical hits IN DUNGEONS by 2.5% each level. Up to level 10. You can upgrade it with gold, wood and stone.

How to gather the resources needed to upgrade each building?
There will be three buttons - one for souls, one for wood and one for stone. Each player can donates its own resources (soul, wood and stone), subtracting the amount donated to their 'inventory'.
For example, I have 10 000 souls on my underworld. I donate 9000 souls to my guilds heaven. Now, when I go to the underworld, I only have 1000 souls left.
About the gold, you use your guilds total gold to upgrade each building.

How does the KNIGHTS MEMORIAL exactly work?
The bonus you get with this building only applies to dungeons:

- Individual (light and shadow) dungeons.
- Twister
- Tower

In tower and shadow world, only YOU get the bonus, not your companions!

Example of calculation :
You have 50% luck and your guild has this building maxed out. Level 10 means +25% luck. So, in THE DUNGEONS ABOVE REFERED, you have 75% luck while fighting.

Reserved for design suggestions. Coming soon.

As usual, I'd like to get each one opinion about this: do you agree with the bonuses suggested? Do you agree with the values suggested? Do you agree with the way it is opened? Please tell me!

good idea, but for me too powerful.

Why?

let me see with full built buildings ....

i have for myself 50% more damage + portal 50% means 100% more damage.
50% more life + 25% life potion = 75% more life .... warrior with 1 billion life is coming
gem stats +50% -> means all gems times 1,5 ... would be 9000 stats at high level ...
300% bonus gold and exp with 50 raids ....
25% more crit + scroll + gladiator -> 105% critchance, which is always ...

Then you will flow through the dungeons and have nothing to do at lvl 400 or 425 ... if we decrease it to 1% each and the crit to .5% i would agree

yeah, some numbers are too high, but it's good idea and gladiator and scroll doesn't work like that , it does increase dmg, not chance, max chance would be 75% and that is ok and 300% guild bonus is also ok

Don't forget, this features will only be available once they're maxed out, which means around levels 400~410. That's the main goal of the guild's fortress, take about 1 year to complete it all in order to give a good bonus. 200% XP bonus allows levels +400 players to level up once each ~10 days. +450 take around 14 days to level up, playing 320 alu everyday. That's way too long, the 300% XP should allow to subtract some days to this, so that high levels can level up in a more fluent way. If you think 100% is too high - alright, make it 50% or 75%. But, unless Playa changes the xp curve at high levels, below 50% is kind of low. IN MY OPINION!

Of course, those values suggested are up to discussion - that's the main purpose of this thread. But keep in mind that these boosts were planned for upcoming updates directed to high-end accounts (above +400/+425). Dungeons are getting harder and harder: people with more than 100k of the mainstat still haven't finished shadow hogwarts, and the next dungeons are only getting harder.

To finish, I don't understand your calculus... how can a gem times 1.5 give around 9000 stats?!

for the calculus:
1 gem at highlevel in black has around 600 stats now.
that means with 9 gems equipped i get=> 6000 stats. (Weapon counts as double)
If i do it with 50% more, i get 9000 Stats.

Oh ok, you're talking about the total and what do you mean by high level? 400? 450? 500?

All the bonuses are too powerful.

But lets look at this from another side.
I see 7 building with 10 levels. That's 70 levels.
How fast would you like these things to build?

A week per level? Then we would be done within a year.

One year for gigantic stat boost that is quite pointless 450+ since theres barely anything to do in the game.

I am not saying Guild Fortress is a bad idea. But we need content that lasts and enriches the gameplay.

Thanks for your feedback!

Those values were, of course, just a suggestion. I agree that they may be a bit too powerful, indeed. But as I said, this feature doesn't make sense without high-end new individual content (dungeons). If there are no dungeons past hogwarts, this makes no sense at all then.
