Hello, I've been searching the forums for a few things and found contradictory info.
First thing is: how exactly does the rage bonus work? I know that it's a 40% bonus that stacks additively starting from the second turn, but when is it applied: each turn or each round? I mean, does it go like this: A: attacks 100% B: attacks 140% A: attacks 180% B: attacks 220% A: attacks 260% … or like this: A: attacks 100% B: attacks 140% A: attacks 140% B: attacks 180% A: attacks 180% … ? My second question, I've read that "Mage's attacks cannot be blocked, evaded or resisted". Does it mean that a mage's attacks aren't weakened by their enemy's intelligence? Thank you in advance. |

intelligence can decrease the damage of the opponent mage. for the first question, i'm pretty sure it's 20%. if you attack for 100 at first attack you go like this 1) 100 dmg 2) 120 dmg 3) 144 dmg 4) 172.8 dmg 5) 207.36 dmg etc etc |

Having spent some time with calculator, I can now say for sure it looks like this:
– the bonus is a multiplier shared by the two participants – its start value is 1 and it increases by 1/6 additively with each attack (i.e. 1 -> 7/6 -> 4/3 -> 3/2 -> 5/3 -> …) – "each attack" means also evaded, blocked and skipped attacks – Berserker's ability underhood forces the enemy to skip their turn and is essentially no different to Scout's evades except that it works on Mages – Battlemage's fireball also counts, blocked or not. The first weapon attack in a fight with a BM has already a 7/6 multiplier – each of Assassin's attacks counts separately – the bonus is not reset after a Demon Hunter revives – the bonus is reset after the end of an individual fight in a battle. |
