Exp is better then gold? What?!?

I always though that gold was better until I read this thread:

and nobody really seamed to apose him in the comments. I tried reading through it but there was just too many math terms and it was all just too much. So can someone extreamly dumb this topic down for me? Should I be going for only EXP or gold in order to gain ranks in the HoF faster? I would really appreciate it if someone would tell me, and then explain why. Thanks!

It depends on how you look at the problem. Basically level always beats the gold. But going only for XP will eventually be your downfall. You will loose against low level players in the arena and i guess you'll get less XP in the dungeons (i'm not 100% sure but i guess you get more XP if you beat a monster in dungeon at lower levels instead of higher ones).
Personally i think, just like in real life, you need to keep things balanced in the game too.
It's just like when you eat too much... you'll get sick .
I hope this will help you with future ingame decisions.

Your right, I think that I'll keep it balanced. For a certain amount of days I'll go for gold, and then for the next amount of days (probably in segments of 7 days) I'll go for EXP. You and Medusa (she PMed me about it) are always very helpful! Thanks so much

The XP you get for winning a dungeon is for every player level the same. A player lvl 100 or a player lvl 200 get both the same amount of xp if they beat the same dungeon

Not at dungeon 9/10. You will get more XP if you are higher.

Level 300 for example gives you about 100 million xp (have to look later at the german board, theres a list).

Normally you should play till level 300. You level fast. So fast, that not one Gold player can win against you. If you are level 300+, you can play your al on gold. It's the best i think

I wanna be pretty balanced so I decided to go 7 days of only farming gold, (will start on a Gold boost weekend) and then switch to 7 days of only EXP after that (will land on EXP boost weekends) I got it all figured out!

exp from dungeons doesn't change no matter what level you are but the effect if has on leveling does .

example getting 50,000 exp from a dungeon at level 40 is better then getting that same exp at say level 100.

As for what is better exp of gold I go exp all the way I have a toon on s3 US that is lvl 365 and I go from #1 to #4 depending on how my questing goes and if I do arena. on the flip side there is a player on s4 and s8 that goes gold quests. he is tough for his level from what I recall back b4 I had retired on both servers but over all I beat him a little more then I lost. you have to remember that you earn more gold the higher level you are from guard duty and quests.

For example with dungeon 90: If you are level 380 (dungeon 126) you'll get 251.935.897 xp. Thats really nice. But wait till level 380 isn't good.

I made this dungeon with level 300 (only for a challenge). This was very good
