I can confirm it is not bugged, just got it on my first try on the area it's supposed to drop

Same here... 1st try on both .ro and .co.uk servers. I guess this time Playa "played it safe" for a rare pet... 100% drop rate

Also, on that day - if a brave soul quests in the morning and manages to drop the pet, please post that on the forums!
I'll personally wait until I have confirmation ( easiest will be to look in the Pet HoF ) that it is droppable before starting to quest.
