I agree with you. The another solution might be - "the rage attacks does not work at all vs mage", same like evasion, block or fireball, nothing works against mage. It would be also better than double damage for mages.

I believe that berserkers have the damage (weapon) of a warrior but the life of a scout. With that being said, this would mess up big time with the class.

The Problem with that is it takes something away from berserker and it wouldnt be balanced afterwards, whilest my solution is neutral for the balance.

Even though i think that berserker need changes , you really chose the least important part . Balancing berserker wont make game any more fun or lure more players or make playa think about horrible player spreading server killing system . Nobody really adresed mentioned problems which are by far greater threat to the game than any class in the game . You chase the wolf while the forest is burning .
