Everything, I got that wrong. The answer is, you need at least 1 mushroom to get the free thirst. It wont take away the mushroom but you just need it.

You get the first one free but how they have it coded you need to have a shroom to get the free one. I think what it does is looks for the shroom then good u can buy beer but the coding says ok u asked for first beer u get it for free or gives it to u back either way it costs u nothing.

Just be sure to keep 1 shroom at all times and u will b fine.

Soo, yeah. I got that right. Just use the mushroom you get from first quest of the day

Ehem, I have lost 1st mission few times, so this 1 mushroom isn't guaranteed.
