1-Why can assassin set a gem on both of its weapons on both of the gems givs x2 the stats while warrior companion can't set a gem to its shield even with x1 the stats??! Why don't you make the warrior able to set gems with x2 stats on its shield and xlasses other than warrior and assassin give their weapom gems x4 stats to balance the game
2-the warrior companion having no shield, doesn't that make it weaker than other companions? |

Assassins can set gems with x1 stats on each weapon, so with 2 weapons they gain 2x stats from the total, like any other class with 1 weapon; so there is no flaw there... I think this answers your question about warrior shield with no gems too, all classes except for assassins have x2 stats for gems on weapon so it is a fair balance. The assassins are broken in other ways... all these new classes are just weird hybrids. lol 2. There have been other discussions about the warrior companion not having any shield, here's one interesting thread: https://forum-int.sfgame.net/showthr...warrior+shield I don't know what to say about this one but probably Playa tested it out and they thought warrior companion is going to be too OP as a companion; I think their idea of... companions is like little helpers, more than players with equal stats to yours. Until now there are a few more serious problems to discuss, like how useless battle mage is except for guild battles & lower level stuff and how broken the berserker is; I think the companions system is ok, could use a rework maybe but it's not the worst/unbalanced part of the game. lol |

People are overthinking the lack of shield for companion.
The warrior companion has no shield because there's no way to obtain shield, if you are playing as a class that doesn't use it. |

it shows that both weapons have x2 gem stats in my computer and mobile. not sure if it is a bug or it is realy x2 for both
![]() + imagine if the warrior has no shield, it would make it much weaker class, imaging having a scout without the ability to evade. or the warrior being able to block/ scout being able to evade the mage attack, it would be completely unfair for the mage, why not fix the game so there is a chance (20% for example) to have a shiled when you drop a weapon in the toilet as example Last edited by Akai shuichi; 23rd April 2019 at 02:05 PM. |

This problem could easily be solved if the ability to block was added to the warrior companion as a passive skill.

And you weren't able to defeat monsters 2x your level? -.- Shadow dungeons are one of the few things that keep high level players around & they are pretty challenging but not impossible; I don't think this is a bug, this just counts as adding content in the game so it's more of a suggestion; I'm on the same page as Arturu on this one, it seems new content is added just to make a few changes here and there but that makes it that most of the times these changes make the game way easier and unbalanced. |

I have been playing this game for years and I always watch the entire fights (if it's a won fight) and I have never seen a warrior companion block a single time.
I also recall Playa saying, back when companions were added, that Bert has higher base strength to compensate for the lack of shield and inability to block. In my opinion, it's not quite enough, though. |
