Black Friday Update Discussion Thread

I really like the sound of the update generally - and many thanks for fixing the weekend event sound! - but how is this "black gem" feature fair to those of us who are in the middle of upgrading our mines? We won't even be able to search for keys to new dungeons until the upgrades are finished.

My upgrade still has 11 days to go, and I can't afford the mushrooms to speed it up. If I "cancel construction", do I get back the huge amount of resources I saved up for the upgrade? (from 20 to 21)?

I'm in the same situation. Unfortunately there's no way other than either complete the construction using mushrooms or cancelling the construction and getting back 75% of the resources invested.

In that case, perhaps I'll cancel. I was only doing the upgrade because I'd finished all the other buildings and was sitting on this huge pile of resources. Thanks for the help!

Hmm - just received a Luck epic from Thor (Nordic God). Thought that epic items would disappear with the new update?

Unfortunately, I did not take a screenshot. I have a screenshot of it now... but I suppose it is too late :-(. Yet, I play on chrome browser. My account is on s2.sfgame.dk). Anyway... it happened thus it will continute to happen until fixed.

It's never too late. Please post the screenshot as it may help the devs to track the problem and fix it so it won't happen again.
