Try upgrading 1 item and then selling it to the shop.

I believe the item needs to be upgraded to recoup those upgrades

Yes, the only unfortunate part is either way, you cannot recoup your gem ...

The good news, is there is now incentive to upgrade your NPCs

Im still confused about this whole thing. Lets take the example below.
I should get 71386 stone and 33944 crystals if i sell the item and only 1689 stone and 2633 if i dismantle it ?

You will get resources only if the item was upgraded.
Example : If you upgrade your weapon to 5x and you will sell it, you gonna get everything that you spend on it.

Selling will get you 10,000,000 gold + 71386 stone and 33944 crystals

Dismantling will get you 1689 stone and 2633 crystals + 71386 stone and 33944 crystals

33944 crystals is the amount you invested with the upgrades and the 2633 is the base crystal value of the epic. If you dismantle the item you should get 33944+2633 crystals, at least if it works correctly.

Thanks will try tomorrow on another item and see what happens. If you guys are correct then we will need a patch to correct the ammount of resources gained from dismantling the item to show the total amount and not only the +0 item amount.

Does the Easter promotion (mushrooms, exp, gold, etc), include Easter Monday? The info suggests that it is until Easter Monday. However I just wanted to check exactly when the promotion ended...
