I agree with BMWGuinness that the fix does not work. Here is my last fight:



First hit from me - 68.4 mln damage. Divide this by 1.75 (my gladiator bonus) and you get 39 mln. Subtract 5% bonus from enhanced weapon and we get 37, which is 18.5 mln doubled. So this is the net damage before adding all bonuses. This is within my damage range:



If I didn't have 75% gladiator bonus, the net damage must have been 68.4 / 1.05 / 2 = 32.5 mln damage. This is not within my damage range and so this option is excluded.

Btw, this is International Hall of Fame top 100. I am absolutely sure everybody here has 75% gladiator bonus. No doubt about it.

Slightly off topic, but are you planning to extend those changes for pets as well? After 200 lvl pets + gladiator fights are pretty bad in general and this could likely help.

Crit Max Weapon Damage = 31,008,780 * 2 = 62,017,560 * 1.80 (Gladiator Bonus + SOV Bonus) = 111,631,608
Crit Max Weapon Damage PVP = 31,008,780 * 2 = 62,017,560 * 1.05 (SOV Bonus) = 65,118,438

Max Crit Damage PVP vs Warrior = 65,118,438 * .5 (50% Damage Reduction) = 32,559,219
Max Crit Damage PVP vs Mage = 65,118,438 * .9 (10% Damage Reduction) = 58,606,594
Max Crit Damage PVP vs Scout = 65,118,438 * .75 (25% Damage Reduction) = 48,838,829

I don't know if there are such plans. None I know of.

BMWGuiness We (community managers) only know the public formula when moving your mouse over the damage text. I also don't know the exact formula.

Maybe it is just [maximum damage of your weapon] + [maximum damage of your weapon] + [maximum damage of your weapon]*80/100.

Right but the concern is that the gladiator update has not been implemented correctly and we've given evidence

Learned in the German forums that Armor Reduction does not count against mages.

One of the staff shared this Strategy Guide (in German | use google translate)

The devs just said the gladiator bonus is neglected if both players have the same bonus.

Here's another one for you



Max damage is 33,069,609

Old Max Crit should be 33,069,609 * 2 = 66,139,218 * 1.80 = 119,050,592
New Max Crit should be 33,069,609 * 2 = 66,139,218 * 1.05 = 69,446,179

Here's the result:



In this case I did not even include the Armor Reduction of 10% because I'm not sure if it is applicable - but that would result in a lower overall crit anyway

You can see that the damage done in round 1 is within the Gladiator Bonus range but NOT WITHIN the "new update" calculations which remove the Gladiator Bonus.

Feel free to check yourself as the International Hall of Fame will not update for another 23 hours.
