Yes, you can add content such as filters to a Flash game. And change or update content. It's done all the time. It's done in the game, not the browsers.

And I doubt my former Guildmate is going to reply an further. I can't say why I say this w/o divulging info from PM's ere and in game. I can say you won't find his account on our server any longer though. Which is sad. He was a good fellow, older and with different upbringing and culture and sensibilities than the young folks who seem to make up the majority of players. And he was a very good player with a very strong toon. And he did not leave because of the Arcane Toilet image. He posted in this thread he was planning on using it in spite of his dislike and reaction to the image. I'll let you read the entire post again and see if you can figure out on your own what offended him more and why he chose to leave the game. I suspect he would have left this forum if he knew how to delete his account here as well.

We'll miss him, and I don't expect we'll see him in the game again on any server. Sad times for us in his former Guild.

Or maybe i am just overthinking, and he was American - it would explain some things, because lot of " triggering and offensive things " and some " safe spaces " and things against freedom of speech are pretty big in USA right now.

No, he wasn't lvl 100 yet, but he had only been playing a few weeks, free. Not American either. Yes, there are many more offensive things than a dirty toilet IRL. Unless you ask a germaphobe about it, or have an involuntary trigger. I didn't ask him for details on that. He was an older, very old school, Old World, very kind, very generous and very pleasant fellow. Who did not have much tech savvy. But was an asset to or Guild in many ways.

We don't question or insult our members about their personal beliefs. We have fun, but we don't question things like that. He followed our rules, did what was asked of him, asked for help while learning the game and was always positive about finding an MMO that seemed silly and friendlier and less bloody and rage filled than most PvP/PvE games are.

He always showed respect. He deserved and deserves that in return. It is possible to disagree with someone or something without being rude and completely disrespectful. And I wish him the best in Life, wherever his path leads him.
