But Leander, in all honesty, since Unity is clearly not gonna change pieces of their engine just for Shakes, is Playa going to do something beside "waiting for a reply" for another 6 months?

Of course, but we do not know what to fix. It does not make sense...a new version of Unity implemented something that needs a better computer or decreases the performance and we do not know why the performance is bad now because the code is the same.

We would need a reply by Unite what might cause this problem and what they changed from the last working version to the next one.

Yes! Everything used to work well till a new Unity version was released. The code remained unchanged, but the performance was worse.

If it is a generic problem, I suppose there is a Unity forum with people being furious after so long time. I have no idea whether this being the case. This is the reason I asked whether there is a place (unity forum) we can try to add some pressure.
If this bug it is specific for s&f, which seems to be the case, it CAN be solved by S&F developers; maybe its a matter of a minor change?
It just doesnt seem like Unity recognizes this as a problem in their engine, so if playa dont take action, it wont get fixed.

Well #1 thing is finding out the cause of the issue ... and that's a lot of time spent debugging everything.

Also honestly why did you even update Unity? ... and why wasn't it reverted back when the problems came up?
