Black gem help.

Can anyone help me find black gems.
I have level 15 hall of knights. ( Reached 5 weeks ago)
I'm level 268.
Gem mine is level 12.
Guild hall of knights is 243
I mine 2 or 3 gems a day.

I have NOT found any black gems yet.

Supposedly, the gem job is controlled by a random number generator.
Is this true?
Is this drop rate consistent with other players? (0 from 80+ gems.)

As the end game is dependent on black gems and therefore a RNG, should I even bother continuing with this character?

If you are the only onde on your guild with LVL 15 mine...yeah coul be bad luck.
The more players in a guild with LVL 15, the higher the chances

What dfps said, just not 15 level mine but level 15 HoK. If everyone in the guild has level 15 HoK or higher you will get 80% black gems afaik
